ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are not feeling well, Ro. What a beautiful family, and what a blessing to still have your parent with you. LOVE the pregnant photo. I was so hoping to get a similar photo of the 3 pregnant ladies celebrating Thanksgiving with us, but one of them was not feeling well and spent most of the day on the couch. The last thing she wanted was for me to take her picture.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the Advent devotional you are using with your Dad?
XOX
Patricia...it is a Catholic devotional called Divine Intimacy...it starts in Advent and goes for a year...this is huge...I grew up Catholic and when I decided to practice my faith outside the Catholic church..i was kicked out of my house....so needless to say...this is huge...both of us growing and me forgiving and finding that place to where we can walk together...when he shared the book with me...I was overwhelmed with God's mercy...so before advent started..I read the section on the virtues... it is so rich....
ReplyDeletehugs and blessings to you....

Nice to meet you! Thank you for visiting my site. I love the photo of the pregnant bellies - such a fabulous journey in a woman's life. I know I'll miss it...perhaps I already do! Many times I too want to walk away from the blog, but my desire to write always seems to win. My best advice is to continue writing openly, honestly, and from the heart. Don't be concerned with comparing your site to others. But most of all, enjoy it. Many blessings to you!
ReplyDeletedorie...thanks for stopping by...blessing~
ReplyDeleteCarrie...even though I have been long past the childbearing years...I still miss it too...being a grandmother is maybe God's gift to that place in a mother's heart...thanks for the encouragement...

ReplyDeleteso wonderful that you stopped by to leave a comment because I thought about you not even 15 minutes prior! :) God is good! I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I spent the 2 days after Thanksgiving in bed, Monday took the kids to Legoland with a homeschool group & then spent Tuesday back in bed- ugh- this weather isn't great, but it's better now for me than it was this summer with all the storms that blow across the Gulf- it rained at Legoland and I limped around some- felt like little knives in my joints- BUT, we had a joyous time!!! Today was a wonderful homeschool day, and I'm feeling much better. I pray you will be feeling better right away my friend!!
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is beautiful- your whole family is beautiful and they just shine!! love it- and love those bellies!
Kelli...oh...i remember those days...up and going one day...the next in bed...this can be such a physical and emotional roller coaster...Glad you day was better...keep watering yourself:)....I finally got on some antibiotics...
