  1. Such a beautiful family! So much to be thankful for! BTW, the thing you nominated me for, is that a chain thing where I then nominate my fav. blogs? Is there a website I link to? And thanks, you are so kind!

  2. Christina...you just copy and paste the symbol and explanation...and share 5 of your favs...
This is my first time doing something like this....
    Blessings to your day...

  3. I hope you feel better soon. I love the picture of the pregnant bellies - so beautiful! Have a blessed day.

  4. Thanks for stopping by...blessings to you...

  5. So sorry you are not feeling well, Ro. What a beautiful family, and what a blessing to still have your parent with you. LOVE the pregnant photo. I was so hoping to get a similar photo of the 3 pregnant ladies celebrating Thanksgiving with us, but one of them was not feeling well and spent most of the day on the couch. The last thing she wanted was for me to take her picture.

What is the Advent devotional you are using with your Dad?

  6. Patricia...it is a Catholic devotional called Divine Intimacy...it starts in Advent and goes for a year...this is huge...I grew up Catholic and when I decided to practice my faith outside the Catholic church..i was kicked out of my house....so needless to say...this is huge...both of us growing and me forgiving and finding that place to where we can walk together...when he shared the book with me...I was overwhelmed with God's mercy...so before advent started..I read the section on the virtues... it is so rich....
    hugs and blessings to you....

  7. Your family is a lovely legacy! Hooray for God in you!

  8. Oh your family looks great and you daughter glows and it spreads to everyone with her!
Doesn't everyone feel a little thanksgiving jet lag.. I know we all seem to be readjusting...and i can't say we are doing it very well..
    Ah well.

    Get well dear,

  9. journey...I felt God's goodness all weekend...such a gift...blessings~

  11. Nice to meet you! Thank you for visiting my site. I love the photo of the pregnant bellies - such a fabulous journey in a woman's life. I know I'll miss it...perhaps I already do! Many times I too want to walk away from the blog, but my desire to write always seems to win. My best advice is to continue writing openly, honestly, and from the heart. Don't be concerned with comparing your site to others. But most of all, enjoy it. Many blessings to you!

  12. dorie...thanks for stopping by...blessing~

Carrie...even though I have been long past the childbearing years...I still miss it too...being a grandmother is maybe God's gift to that place in a mother's heart...thanks for the encouragement...

  13. Ells, such a blessing you and your family shared and are sharing. Beautiful.
I hold you in my prayers, Ells, for complete healing.
    Caring through Christ, ~ linda

  14. "Tylenol"- that made me smile. :) I think my very first entry when I started counting gifts was "allergy medicine"!

Those are beautiful pictures! My best friend of 17 years just had her first baby yesterday. So much to be thankful for! ~Frances

  16. all these wonderful holidays are truly gifts to build our family memories... getting together... a bit like heaven when it is with those we love.
Glad you could all be together... old and young (very young) together :)

  17. yes...a true gift...one I appreciate more and more the older my kids get...the more that get married and the family unit changes...so sweet..

  18. All those new babies will have such fun growing up together with one another. Our girls still laugh and have such a good time even if they are now in their middle age area of life. Family is so precious.

  21. What a beautiful Thanksgiving that must have been. Still having your parents...and your baby having a baby. I look forward to that one (someday!). :-)

  22. so wonderful that you stopped by to leave a comment because I thought about you not even 15 minutes prior! :) God is good! I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I spent the 2 days after Thanksgiving in bed, Monday took the kids to Legoland with a homeschool group & then spent Tuesday back in bed- ugh- this weather isn't great, but it's better now for me than it was this summer with all the storms that blow across the Gulf- it rained at Legoland and I limped around some- felt like little knives in my joints- BUT, we had a joyous time!!! Today was a wonderful homeschool day, and I'm feeling much better. I pray you will be feeling better right away my friend!!
Your daughter is beautiful- your whole family is beautiful and they just shine!! love it- and love those bellies!

  23. Kelli...oh...i remember those days...up and going one day...the next in bed...this can be such a physical and emotional roller coaster...Glad you day was better...keep watering yourself:)....I finally got on some antibiotics...
Good to hear from you...blessings to you my friend...

  24. Praying for you, sweet friend! Hope you feel better very soon!
